I have not yet tried the Network connection, but I can live with the USB connection, that will work for me. And VOILA, she is working perfectly again, albeit on the USB cable connection. So I uninstalled all the 'new' drivers and then loaded up the old software from the original installation CD. I was ready to toss my beloved 8600 into the trash bin and start looking at new printers.īut I then found the ORIGINAL installation CD (I was amazed I found it). Then I figured I would try basic USB cable connection using the new drivers, STILL NO JOY. They I uninstalled the drivers and downloaded new drivers from HP site. So I was dismayed when it stopped working yesterday.
